Lead- Free Soldering

The pace in Semiconductor and Electronics Company is very fast, to survive with this kind of business one should meet the criteria of the customer which are High Quality, Speed/Delivery, Cost, Safety and Environment friendly.
Lead Free technology had drastically went up, with the WEEE/RoHS directives outlawing lead from electronics, manufacturers around the world are driving the implementation of lead free electronics assembly to be competent in this business.

The main reason for shifting to Lead free process is because the solder lead is hazardous to health that may cause vomiting, diarrhea, convulsions, coma or even death. And also can contaminate or poison the environment.

The advantage of Lead free solder: Environment friendly, specific heat is large, non poisonous and electric resistance is small. For its disadvantage; the material cost is higher, higher melting point and has dull and un-shinny finished.

PayPerPost: Blogger’s Avenue

I immediately search the Internet when I heard about PayPerPost from a friend who used to gain in here for almost a year now. PayPerPost aims to help Bloggers, like me, to find advertisers willing to sponsor specific content. I visited the website and register. When my blog was approved and ready to take some of the opportunities, I have looked first all the lists that advertisers have created and later choose one in area of my interest.

I believed that PPP is a good avenue to promote any website, product, service or company, by creating buzz, gaining links for search engine and others. This is a great place for Bloggers because there is a payment to compensate for what have been written, we will be benefited from all the sales and traffic we have helped generate. I know that we are free to write or say anything we want but should also consider word of mouth ethics.Furthermore, I have learned a lot from my friends, who I have gained from PayPerPost. Being new in the world of blogging they have shared some tips and hints to be a better Blogger.

Finally I decided to get involved in the business because I want to help my family for the money I will be earning from this. I also hope to be a successful Blogger, not only to earn money but to learn many things in this world.

Eleksen's Double-sided Fabric Keyboard

Last December 2006, we talked about fabric keyboard by Eleksen. Eleksen has been all over the fabric keyboard phenomenon right from the start and today there is an interesting proposition- Eleksen's double-sided fabric keyboard!

A second keyboard on the other side? Yes, one surface of the double-sided USB fabric keyboard has a set of QWERTY keys for cell phones and other handheld devices, and on the other side a calculator and media controls such as page navigation, and quick access music controls.

Like just about every other fabric keyboard out there it is lightweight and flexible and rolls up to fit in your pocket. It can be folded, scrunched and washed without breaking and highly durable.

Mini Robot For Your Treatment

Today there are many types of flexible and inflexible endoscopes are used in inspecting and performing medical procedures. Anyway, endoscopes are long slender medical instrument for examining the interior of a bodily organ or performing minor surgery. And most endoscopy procedures are unpleasant for the patient. But because of the advances in optics and instrumentation there is a leap from traditional open operating techniques to the minimally invasive surgeries of today.

The mini robot will be placed inside the body (at the affected area, of course!) by means of surgical incision. The mini robot can capture and gather pictures and relevant information. It can take tissue samples and can perform medical treatments. When the mini robot is remotely positioned to the affected area, it is then controlled and guided using a magnetic resonance imaging or MRI, defined as the use of nuclear magnetic resonance of protons to produce proton density images. Then the image is seen in the computer during the procedure.

Actually, this technology was first tested in animals, and we are going to be the next in line! Isn’t it great?

Flying Car in the Future

For now, only those who can afford to buy can own the car because it is very expensive. They said that maybe it can be owned and used by the military sector.

In few more years, we will no longer be affected by traffic jam we can fly whenever we please, and take off and land from wherever we please, in our very own vehicles!

DoCoMo Aroma

DoCoMo,which means “anywhere" in Japanese, is a NTT subsidiary and Japan's biggest mobile service provider. What’s the latest? They have just come up with a new way of keeping its users fresh and comfortable while talking on the phone.

Sony Ericsson has a new aroma handset for DoCoMo, the "SO703i," which comes with scented sheets designed to relax the users while making calls. It offers nine aroma choices for the consumer, each coupled with a different panel design.” It is like there is a storage compartment in phones that can hold perfume cartridges and release their scent at appropriate times, such as when receiving a call. And perfumes are linked to panels’ colours.

USB Ashtray

Smoking is awful and smelling a second hand smoke from someone’s lighted cigarette is so nasty! However, with the help of our technology today, this USB powered ashtray is the answer.

USB-powered ashtray sucks in smoke and blows out marginally-less smoky air. USB powered ashtray will keep your room smelling good by absorbing and filtering cigarette smoke into fresh air. The ashtray can hold up to four cigarettes simultaneously and easily fits on your desk.

This device is USB powered. Alternatively, it can run on a couple of AA batteries. Odors smoke will pass through the filter and absorb by the carbon. When it is plugged into any available USB port, a fan will begin to turn, sucking any smoke upwards and forcing it through a carbon filter.

The USB powered ash tray is modeled in the shape of a car and opens up halfway to reveal an ashtray. Tray and filter can be removed for easy cleaning. Open and close the cover to turn the device on or off. And it is available in color red, yellow, blue, green, and silver. Price is just right. It is economical.

Illuminating Shirt For Me

Philips Electronics, a global leader in healthcare, lifestyle and technology, delivering products, services and solutions, has succeeded in embedding arrays of red, green and blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs) beneath the surface of textiles, making it possible for soft furniture and clothing to come alive with numerous patterns of colored light. Integrated electronics drives the LEDs to create fixed or moving patterns of light that bring the magic of illumination to the textiles.

Philips’ Lumalive technology features flexible arrays of colored LEDs fully integrated into the fabric, without degrading the softness or flexibility of the cloth. These light emitting textiles make it possible to create materials that can carry dynamic messages, graphics or multicolored surfaces.

The jackets or shirts are comfortable to wear. The electronics, batteries and LED arrays are fully integrated and invisible to the observer and wearer. Maybe you wanna ask how to wash the clothes? Simply disconnect and reconnect batteries and control electronics after the garment has been cleaned. The light-emitting layer can be easily removed and refitted to the jacket.

The products include features that make them practical for daily use. Light-emitting textiles have important potential applications in medicine, healthcare and personal safety. I think it is beneficial for those who usually bikes or walks at night. It prevents them from any automobile accident and the like.

These first-generation jackets are ready for commercialization by companies partnering with Philips Research, particularly those in the promotional industry looking for a new, high-impact medium.

Barbie Doll Moves

We know that Barbie doll became one of world’s best selling toys and has been icon of American popular culture, artistic muse and lightning rod of feminist politics. Did you know that the creator of this stuff was Ruth Handler?

There is a great variety of beautiful Barbie dolls and attractive accessories available in the market. Through the years, the Barbie dolls have developed their looks and designing. But what is the latest? I just heard from television that Barbie dolls can move parts of its body. Barbie doll movements depend on your movements. I still don’t know how they do it. But I am gonna tell to everyone as soon I have an ample knowledge about it.

A Barbie dolls is not a new attraction. It is a full-time passion. For a granddaughter, a grandmother can choose the Barbie, as she must have played with it in her childhood. Buying Barbie dolls have just passed through generations.

Barbie doll was really a spontaneous hit. Actually I have three in the house. The two was given to me when I was just a child while the other one was given to me when I celebrated my debut. They were all lovely!
